Low Carbon Inertia Services for Northern Ireland's Transmission Network - Phase 2

SONI, Northern Ireland's Transmission System Operator (TSO), is seeking services to support the development of low carbon inertia solutions for the electricity transmission network. As TSO, SONI is responsible for planning and operating the transmission network and must complete pre-construction activities to enable Northern Ireland Electricity Networks (the Transmission Asset Owner) to construct and connect infrastructure to the grid. This opportunity involves technical and planning work to support the deployment of inertia services that help stabilize the grid as Northern Ireland transitions to renewable energy sources. Suppliers should have expertise in transmission system planning, renewable energy integration, and grid stability solutions.
