Black Country Highways Works Framework

City of Wolverhampton Council is seeking qualified contractors for the Black Country Highways Works Framework, a 4-year agreement to deliver highway maintenance and improvement works across the Black Country region. This framework is delivered in partnership with Birmingham City Council, Dudley MBC, Sandwell MBC, Walsall MBC, Wolverhampton Homes, and West Midlands Combined Authority. The framework replaces the expired Black Country Minor Works Framework and covers a wide range of highway works including road and footway excavation and construction, tree removal, drainage installation, traffic signals and pedestrian crossings, street lighting, road markings and signs, subway infilling, and park and ride facility construction. The estimated total value of works over the 4-year term is £150,000,000 excluding VAT. Contractors should note that while this represents the anticipated procurement value, there are no guaranteed minimum or maximum values or volumes. Suitable for contractors experienced in highways maintenance, civil engineering, and traffic management works.
