The Rhondda Cynon Taf (RCT) Trust has a statutory duty to provide suitable education for children of compulsory school age who cannot attend mainstream school due to suspension, exclusion, or other circumstances. The Trust is seeking to procure experienced and qualified providers to deliver alternative provision programmes. Separate tenders will be issued for each type of alternative provision needed. The contract value covers one academic year of provision. Contracts are awarded under the Light Touch Regime and may be extended annually if the provision remains necessary. The top three highest-scoring bidders will each be awarded a contract. Providers should demonstrate expertise in delivering alternative education with digital and immersive technology components.
