Emergency Lighting System Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance

Staffordshire County Council seeks a single supplier to provide comprehensive emergency lighting services across approximately 471 properties. Services include annual planned inspections and testing of emergency luminaires, illuminated escape signage, and associated battery systems. The contract also requires 24/7 responsive fault attendance to address reported faults and system failures. Work covers SCC corporate properties, Local Education Authority maintained schools, and potentially 200+ academy, fire service, and other partner properties. The contract scope includes inspection and testing activities only; remedial works, installations, system upgrades, and equipment replacement are excluded. Properties span diverse building types including educational facilities, residential care homes, civic buildings, offices, fire stations, enterprise centres, and small industrial units. A single supplier framework agreement will be awarded.
