    Brief

This tender invites suppliers to design and supply interactive exhibits for the Wonderlab gallery at Science and Industry Museum in Manchester. These hands-on installations should create engaging, joyful experiences for visitors of all ages and abilities throughout the gallery journey. All exhibits must align with four core principles: Playful (encouraging active exploration, curiosity and experimentation), Social (engaging both children and adults, fostering intergenerational conversations), Inclusive (multi-sensory, accessible and welcoming to diverse audiences), and Inviting (intuitive to navigate, empowering independent discovery with local Manchester character). Exhibits should require no written instructions, be easy to manipulate, and be based on inquiry-led science education principles that promote hands-on experimentation, questioning, reflection and open-ended play. Suppliers should coordinate with the Lead Designer/Architect to ensure visual consistency with overall gallery design.
