Brief

Multi-party framework agreement for assigned certifier services supporting HSE West's Non-Acute Healthcare Capital Works programme in the west of Ireland (Galway, Mayo, Roscommon). The initial project involves construction of a new 75-bed Community Nursing Unit (CNU) at Ballina District Hospital with capacity for 25 single en-suite bedrooms on each of three floors, including 10 dementia-designated beds on the ground floor, plus extensive refurbishment of the existing district hospital. Project scope includes: demolition of existing structures, construction and fit-out of the new CNU with rooftop MEP plant room and gardens, refurbishment of the main hospital including commercial kitchen, physiotherapy area, laundry and day-care services, new car parking areas, new electrical substation with generator room, and new medical building. Total floor area: approximately 7,960 m². Works will be tendered separately as enabling works packages and main construction contracts, subject to statutory approvals, HSE sign-off, and funding confirmation. Suitable for engineering consultants with experience in healthcare infrastructure and assigned certifier roles.
