    Brief

    Nuclear Waste Services (NWS) is seeking professional services support for site characterisation activities across multiple locations in the UK. Site characterisation is the process of developing a detailed understanding of local geology and environmental conditions through investigative activities to assess site safety and suitability for nuclear waste storage. The framework is divided into three specialist lots: - Lot 1: Site Characterisation Planning and Technical Advisory Services - Lot 2: Geological and Geophysical Interpretation and Modelling - Lot 3: Hydrogeological Interpretation and Modelling Suppliers can bid for one or multiple lots. This support will help NWS understand design and construction methodologies, improve cost certainty, and meet regulatory requirements for design and safety case teams.
