Temporary Structures for ReActon Circular Economy Hub - West London Waste Authority

West London Waste Authority (WLWA) is inviting tenders for the design, supply, modification, delivery and installation of temporary building structures at the ReActon Circular Economy Hub in South Acton. The Hub is a pioneering circular economy facility where residents can access reused items, repair broken goods, and learn sustainability skills. The project is valued at a maximum budget of £400,000 ex VAT. The successful contractor will be responsible for: providing temporary modular or container-based structures; refurbishing and modifying structures to meet operational requirements; managing delivery and installation with minimal disruption; coordinating phased delivery aligned with the project programme; liaising with the authority and stakeholders throughout design and delivery; supporting planning and statutory requirements with technical documentation; and demonstrating circular economy principles including use of reused and recycled materials, design for disassembly, and waste minimisation. WLWA serves approximately 1.7 million residents across six London Boroughs (Brent, Ealing, Harrow, Hillingdon, Hounslow and Richmond upon Thames) and is transforming traditional waste infrastructure into modern facilities that prioritise reuse, repair and community engagement. Tenderers should propose proportionate, cost-effective and deliverable solutions that reflect the temporary nature of the development and represent good value for money.
