    Brief

The Council seeks a single supplier to deliver assessed care packages to eligible residents at three locations: MacGregor Tithe Extra Care Scheme (Hospital Street, Tamworth, B79 7EF), Chestnut Grange Extra Care Scheme (All Saints Road, Burton upon Trent, DE14 3HL), and Tyldesley Court Retirement Housing Complex (High Street, Burton upon Trent, DE14 1LJ, opening 2026). Care will be funded at the Council's extra care hourly rate for commissioned packages only. The Council will not fund care outside agreed packages or additional care beyond service users' commissioned support. Housing Providers may separately commission unplanned care and support, and residents may self-fund additional care services, with the expectation that the supplier will enter separate agreements for these services. The supplier must maintain positive working relationships with all Housing Providers. The total estimated contract value is £3,250,590 to £3,413,119 excluding VAT.
