Communications and Stakeholder Engagement Agency Partner

The City of Liverpool College, a leading further education and skills institution, is seeking a strategic communications agency partner to support engagement with stakeholders, political leaders, and media. The agency will provide thought leadership, reputation management, and rapid response communications during a period of significant change in the FE and skills sector. Key responsibilities include: positioning the college as a credible, authoritative voice in national skills policy discussions; managing communications around government priorities including apprenticeships, T Levels, and devolved skills funding; proactively addressing potential issues related to funding, Ofsted inspections, governance, and industrial relations; and maintaining relationships with decision-makers across Whitehall, Parliament, and national media outlets. The ideal partner will demonstrate deep understanding of the further education sector, established connections with political and media stakeholders, proven experience navigating policy landscapes, and the ability to respond quickly to emerging issues and opportunities.
