Biogas Systems and Tank Maintenance Services

Southern Water is seeking suppliers to provide comprehensive services for the design, manufacture, installation, and maintenance of biogas and digester assets, plus non-concrete tank systems across their water and wastewater operations. Services required include: design and specification, manufacture and/or supply, installation and commissioning, planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance and repair, refurbishment and replacement, and process optimisation and performance improvement. The opportunity covers three key areas: (A) Digester Systems - maintenance of 43 digesters across 16 Sludge Treatment Centres with major cleaning and maintenance cycles undertaken approximately every 9 years, plus routine inspection and maintenance between interventions; (B) Biogas Assets - support for anaerobic digestion and energy recovery processes critical to operational performance and safety compliance; and (C) Tank Systems - management of 200+ non-concrete tanks used for drinking water storage, wastewater and sewage treatment, process water, industrial effluent, and biogas processes. Suppliers should be prepared to deliver these services across multiple locations and demonstrate capability in asset lifecycle management.
