ADHD and Autism Diagnostic Services for NHS North East and North Cumbria

NHS North East and North Cumbria Integrated Care Board has contracted for the delivery of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Autism diagnostic and assessment pathway services across its region. The service encompasses patient assessment, clinical diagnosis, post-diagnostic support, and evidence-based interventions, delivered in line with national clinical guidance. This contract operates under the patient choice framework, allowing eligible patients to select their preferred provider. The service model uses activity-based tariff pricing, meaning payment is based on the number of patients assessed and treated, with no guaranteed minimum activity levels. The contract was awarded through Direct Award Process B under The Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023, and the Procurement Act 2023 and Procurement Regulations 2024 do not apply.
