ISO11 Fumigation Lobby Replacement Project - Civil Works and CDM Services

This contract is for a single supplier to deliver comprehensive civil works and CDM (Construction Design and Management) services for the ISO11 Fumigation Lobby Replacement Project at The Pirbright Institute. The scope includes: converting structural engineer drawings to construction documents; liaising with the Local Authority for Building Control compliance; constructing a temporary biocontainment wall to enable safe works; stripping out existing fumigation equipment; modifying internal and external doors and openings; creating new loading and unloading areas with compliant flooring and surfaces; removing and replacing the external staircase for forklift access; and integrating the new fumigation lobby into the refurbished space. All surfaces in fumigation and loading areas must be finished to ISO11 standards to maintain sealability and allow unobstructed pallet truck and forklift access. The supplier must also provide CDM Principal Designer and Principal Contractor services throughout the project, coordinate with the fumigation lobby equipment supplier, arrange for a covered skip for a 6-month quarantine period, and submit an Operations and Maintenance manual with as-built drawings and Building Control certificates upon completion. An optional cost for refurbishing room G44 to ISO11 standards is also requested.
