    Brief

The National Biodiversity Network (NBN) Trust seeks a partner to support delivery of its 2022-2027 strategic plan, 'Making Data Work for Nature.' The partner will help achieve four key objectives: (1) establish the NBN Atlas as the primary UK platform for sharing, finding and accessing biodiversity data; (2) use biodiversity data to provide evidence for nature recovery; (3) expand and support citizen science as a major source of biodiversity data; and (4) strengthen the National Biodiversity Network as a well-connected, collaborative community with a coordinated voice on key issues. The selected partner will work with the Authority to deliver this strategy, acting as a facilitator within the broader partnership ecosystem. The role includes supporting the mobilization and sharing of biodiversity information collected by the Authority through both direct staff activities and contracted work. This is an opportunity to play a central role in advancing UK nature recovery through improved data accessibility and collaboration.
