Abandoned and Untaxed Vehicle Collection, Storage, and Disposal Service

Cambridge City Council is seeking a service provider to handle the complete lifecycle management of abandoned and untaxed vehicles. This includes collection and transportation of motor vehicles, motorcycles, caravans, trailers, and their associated parts and contents. The service must cover secure storage of collected vehicles and their contents, and professional disposal or destruction of vehicles that cannot be recovered or returned. The service provider must also manage hazardous materials such as liquid spills and debris associated with abandoned vehicles. This contract encompasses both abandoned vehicles (regardless of ownership status) and vehicles that are untaxed and unregistered. Suppliers should be prepared to manage inventory, maintain secure storage facilities, coordinate with local authorities, and comply with environmental and waste disposal regulations.
