Financial Audit Services for IC-ENC

The UK Hydrographic Office (UKHO) seeks an external auditor to conduct comprehensive financial audits for the IC-ENC (International Committee for Electronic Navigation Charts) for the financial years ending 31 December 2026, 2027, and 2028. The audit report must provide assurance to IC-ENC members that year-end financial statements present a true and fair view of financial performance and position. Key audit areas include: verification that IC-ENC financial processes are robust and fit for purpose; evaluation of the revenue calculation process for resilience and accuracy; confirmation that IC-ENC remains a going concern; validation that reported annual sales reports and member cost statements accurately reflect revenue owed to members; and confirmation that cost statements truthfully represent work completed during the year. The successful bidder will need to demonstrate expertise in auditing maritime and international organizations, with particular knowledge of revenue recognition and member-based financial reporting structures.
