    Brief

St Thomas' campus at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust is undertaking a major clinical services upgrade programme, including construction of a new Evelia London Children's Hospital (ELCH). The existing electrical infrastructure cannot support the additional power demand from these new facilities. Current forecasts predict the site will exhaust its available spare power capacity in 2026, coinciding with the opening of the new children's hospital. This project aims to expand and upgrade the site's power supply infrastructure to meet current and future clinical demands. The requirement was tendered through the NHS Shared Business Services (SBS) framework, specifically the Healthcare Planning, Construction Consultancy and Ancillary Services (HPCCAS) framework, Lot 5 for Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health (MEP) services. Qualified suppliers with expertise in healthcare infrastructure, electrical systems design, and large-scale power distribution projects are sought to deliver this critical upgrade.
