    Brief

    The Borough Council of Calderdale is seeking a single provider to deliver a comprehensive Dementia Community Support, Advice, and Information Service starting 1st April 2027. The service will support individuals with dementia, their families, and carers from diagnosis through end of life, focusing on prevention and enabling people to live well in their communities. Key objectives include providing community advice on dementia prevention, delivering support and information services, promoting independence and health, and helping people remain safe in their homes and communities for as long as possible. The service aligns with The Care Act 2014 prevention agenda. This is a three-year contract (1st April 2027 to 31st March 2030) with an option to extend for up to 24 months (to 31st March 2032). Delivery must be consistent and uniform across the whole borough, so this is a single award contract with no lot-based tendering. An open procedure will be used. A bidders event is scheduled for Monday 29th June 2026 at 10:30am.
