Replacement Floors and Property Renovation at Two Weston-super-Mare Properties

This procurement is for replacement floors and comprehensive renovation works at 21 and 23 Lonsdale Avenue, Weston-super-Mare, North Somerset. The scope of work includes: replacement of timber floors in living rooms, dining rooms and hallways with insulation, concrete and screed; installation of new skirtings; complete replacement of both kitchens and bathroom at number 21, and bathroom refurbishment at number 23; full re-wiring of both properties; installation of new central heating systems; complete staircase replacement at number 21; replacement of all internal doors and some linings; repairs to first floor boarding; internal decoration including wall and ceiling skimming and complete redecoration; and sundry external repairs. The estimated contract value is between £90,000 and £100,000 (excluding VAT). Works are scheduled to commence on 1 June 2026 with an expected completion period of 4 to 6 weeks. Contracts will be awarded on 22 May 2026. Bidders must confirm their proposed project timelines in Schedule 3 (Schedule of Works), and proposed start dates and completion periods must be acceptable to Alliance Homes. Failure to meet these requirements may result in the contract being awarded to the next lowest price bidder.
