Public Address and Equipment Hire Services for Swansea Events

Swansea Council's Special Events Team is seeking a reliable contractor to supply professional Public Address (PA) systems and sound equipment for large-scale events across the city. Events range from 200 to 180,000 attendees and take place in multiple venues, parks, and outdoor spaces. The successful contractor must provide high-quality sound equipment suitable for large-scale systems, deliver excellent customer service, demonstrate strong sustainability practices, and maintain exemplary health and safety standards. This is a 3-year contract running from 1 June 2026 to 31 May 2029, with an optional 2-year extension. The contract is divided into five lots, and suppliers may bid for one or more: Lot 1 (Wales Airshow distributed PA), Lot 2 (Swansea Bay 10k), Lot 3 (Christmas Parade), Lot 4 (Swansea Fireworks Display), and Lot 5 (additional equipment and ad-hoc PA provision for smaller events). Annual requirements vary depending on which events proceed. All event dates are subject to confirmation. Site visits can be arranged prior to tender submission.
