British Pavilion Venice Biennale: Management and Exhibition Services

The British Council is seeking a qualified supplier to manage the British Pavilion at the Venice Biennale for a two-year contract with a two-year extension option, starting with an induction period from November 2026 to January 2027. The Service Provider will serve as the primary point of contact in Venice, managing all pavilion operations including property management, exhibition production and installation, building maintenance, stewarding, and Fellowship support during the Biennale exhibitions held annually. Key responsibilities include coordinating with the British Council, appointed artists and curators, overseeing local service provider contracts and payments, managing staff and security, and ensuring compliance with EU building and health and safety regulations. The role requires demonstrated expertise in exhibition production, design, fabrication and installation with the ability to deliver creative, high-quality solutions within budget. The Service Provider must build and maintain strong working relationships with the Biennale di Venezia organization and the British Council's extended Venice project team to consistently deliver outstanding international art and architecture exhibitions.
