Digital Mental Health Services for Young People in South Staffordshire

Midlands Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (MPFT) is conducting preliminary market engagement to develop a service specification and procurement strategy for digital mental health services for children and young people (CYP) in South Staffordshire. The Trust is inviting suppliers with relevant experience and capability to participate in this engagement exercise and share insights to help shape the future service model. The objective is to procure a digital mental health service that expands access for young people, supports transparent waiting time reporting, and provides safe, evidence-based guided digital interventions and self-management tools for those with moderate to severe mental health needs. Suppliers participating in this preliminary engagement should be prepared to contribute expertise on service quality, performance, and value delivery while aligning with NHS ambitions and regulatory standards. This is a non-binding consultation to inform MPFT's comprehensive service specification and procurement approach. The current contract remains in place until 6 December 2026, with the new procurement process to follow. Any feedback provided will help ensure the future service meets best practice standards and addresses the growing demand for CYP mental health support.
