    Brief

The Police and Crime Commissioner for Derbyshire and Derby City Council are seeking providers to deliver comprehensive domestic abuse support services for victims and survivors of all ages and genders across Derby City. Services must be trauma-informed, accessible, and address all risk levels (standard, medium, and high), with a focus on improving safety and enabling recovery. The commission will roll out in two phases: Phase 1 (standard and medium risk services) from 1 April 2027, and Phase 2 (high-risk IDVA services) from 1 October 2027. The initial contract runs until March 2029 with three optional 12-month extensions. This engagement seeks stakeholder input to explore service delivery models, commissioning options, and ways to maximize the domestic abuse support budget. Responses will help shape service design, specification development, and tender approaches to ensure effective, safe, and value-for-money provision that meets the needs of domestic abuse victims and survivors in Derby City.
