Independent Evaluation Consultant for DNA Museum Project

Derry City and Strabane District Council is seeking an independent evaluation consultant or consultancy team to assess the DNA Museum project in Derry-Londonderry. The DNA Museum is a heritage and cultural facility located at Ebrington that involves the preservation and adaptive reuse of historic buildings to create a new museum, archive, and genealogy services center. The project aims to enhance public access to heritage assets and collections while supporting cultural and educational initiatives, with expected annual visitor numbers reaching 75,000 by year three. The evaluation consultant will assess project delivery, outcomes, and emerging impact through analysis of project documentation, stakeholder engagement, and available evidence. The evaluation will inform future project delivery and demonstrate outcomes and outputs to funders. The successful consultant must be suitably qualified and experienced in heritage project evaluation.
