    Brief

This contract involves the safe removal and disposal of 3 existing Evans 300/2 Cremators and their associated double emissions abatement system at Wilford Hill Crematorium in Nottingham. The contractor will replace this equipment with new, fuel-efficient cremation plant and equipment. The crematorium must remain fully operational throughout the entire replacement programme, requiring careful planning, phasing, and coordination to maintain continuity of cremation services. Additionally, the selected contractor will enter into a long-term maintenance, servicing, and technical support agreement for the new cremation plant, lasting up to 25 years to cover the anticipated operational lifecycle. The maintenance contract will include break clauses at five-year intervals that the Authority may exercise at its discretion. Suppliers should have expertise in cremation equipment removal, safe disposal under license, modern cremation technology installation, and long-term plant maintenance and technical support.
