Precast Concrete Shaft Segments for Water Storage Infrastructure

Severn Trent Water is seeking suppliers to manufacture and stock precast concrete shaft segments for shaft tank construction across their AMP8 capital programme. These segments will be used to build new stormwater storage solutions at both infrastructure and non-infrastructure sites throughout the STW network. Scope of Supply: • Internal diameters ranging from 5m to 25m • Segments must be designed and manufactured to relevant UK standards for water-storing concrete structures suitable for wastewater applications • Proven designs currently in use across the UK Water Industry or equivalent sectors • Compatible with underpinning, caisson, and chimney construction methods • Include integrated jointing and sealing features to ensure watertight structures Suppliers should have capability to maintain sufficient stock levels to support the programme delivery schedule.
