Online Business Skills Training Programme for Young People

Staffordshire County Council is seeking a supplier to deliver a comprehensive employability and enterprise programme for post-16 Further Education students and Year 9 Secondary School students interested in starting their own business. The programme combines an online learning platform, intensive face-to-face workshops, one-to-one mentoring, and ongoing support covering essential business topics including market research, business planning, operations, financial forecasting, taxation, marketing, and funding strategies. The initial contract runs from 1st September 2026 to 31st August 2028 (2 years), with an optional extension period of up to 2 additional years (1st September 2028 to 31st August 2030) at the Council's discretion, subject to the same terms and conditions. The total estimated contract value is approximately £412,000 (excluding VAT) over the full four-year period.
