Primary Care Data Quality and Support Service for North East London

NHS North East London Integrated Care Board is procuring a Primary Care Clinical Information and Facilitation Service to improve clinical data quality and coding standards across GP practices. The service will run for 3 years (July 2026 - June 2029) with an optional 2-year extension, with an indicative annual value of £850,000 (total contract value £2.55 million, rising to £4.25 million with extension). The provider will offer expert clinical advice and support to GP practices, Primary Care Networks, and commissioning teams to standardize data quality, improve coding practices, and support quality improvement initiatives. Key responsibilities include: delivering standardized data searches and reports for contractual compliance and performance monitoring; providing timely advice on practice systems and clinical data; extracting, formatting and presenting data for multiple purposes including payment claims, data validation, service planning and analysis; and ensuring consistency and equity across all North East London practices. The service aims to foster a learning health system that improves disease prevention, detection and management while reducing health inequalities.
