    Brief

This is a multi-lot procurement opportunity to establish qualified provider lists and contracts for therapeutic and support services for vulnerable children and young people in Kent: Lot 1: SEN Therapies - The Council seeks therapy service providers to support children and young people with Education, Health and Care (EHC) Plans. The Council will establish a relational contracting approach with providers to improve educational participation, curriculum access, and outcomes. The framework will facilitate cooperation between the Council, providers, and other stakeholders; enable quick response to changing needs; support joint working between education and therapy services; ensure sufficient and suitable provision; and maintain transparent, fair commercial arrangements. Lot 2: Adoption Support Service - Using Adoption Support Fund (ASF) monies, the Council will commission therapeutic services for eligible adoptive families and families with Special Guardianship Orders (SGOs). Services should improve outcomes for young people and families, enhance core adoption/SGO support, and build evidence of intervention effectiveness and value for money. Lot 3: Virtual Schools Kent - The Council seeks providers to deliver therapeutic interventions supporting children in care (aged 3-18) in their education. Services should improve learning targets in Personal Education Plans and increase educational engagement, using Pupil Premium Plus and Early Years Pupil Premium funding.
