    Brief

Jigsaw Homes Group (JHG) is seeking a single pest control service provider to deliver comprehensive pest management services across the North and Tameside areas. The successful contractor will be responsible for servicing communal and public areas, individual dwellings (houses, flats, bungalows, maisonettes), commercial properties, new build properties from developer handover, and any other buildings for which JHG holds responsibility. The service provider must have the necessary skills, knowledge, experience, and qualifications to deliver effective pest control solutions. Key requirements include: detailed attendance reporting with photographic evidence, completion certificates for all visits, and recommendations for appropriate remedial actions. The initial contract runs from 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2026, with anticipated volumes of approximately 581 orders in the North (£58,000) and 792 orders in Tameside (£153,000). Each order requires a minimum of three visits, with additional visits required for complex cases. The contract may be extended year-on-year up to a maximum of 4 years based on KPI performance and mutual agreement, subject to UK Procurement Act 2023 requirements. The contractor must demonstrate full understanding and compliance with Awaab's Law, which makes pest control a mandatory provision from October 2026 onwards.
