Secure Cash Collection and Delivery Services

Derry City and Strabane District Council is seeking a qualified service provider to collect and transport cash and cheques securely from council facilities to the designated bank. The service provider must ensure safe handling of all cash deliveries, maintain detailed collection records for audit purposes, and complete all collections within one working day. Collections must occur at specified frequencies and timeslots, with transportation directly to the designated bank for prompt income recording. In cases where a collection day falls on a bank holiday, collection will be scheduled for the next working day. The number of bags collected from each site must be logged on receipts issued by the collection team in accordance with audit control requirements.
