Waste Wood Collection and Recycling from Household Recycling Centres

Mid Ulster District Council (MUDC) is seeking contractor feedback on a planned procurement for waste wood collection, treatment, and recycling services from Household Waste Recycling Centres and Waste Transfer Stations across the district. This is a pre-market engagement (PME) exercise, not a formal tender. MUDC wants to understand market interest, contractor capacity, operational feasibility, and potential risks before proceeding with a formal procurement process under the Procurement Act 2023. Interested contractors should complete a questionnaire available on eTendersNI to share their views on requirements, innovative solutions, and challenges. Information provided will only inform MUDC's internal business planning and procurement strategy development—it will not be used to evaluate bids in any future tender process. Participating in this exercise does not affect eligibility for future procurement opportunities, and MUDC reserves the right to modify or withdraw this exercise at any time.
