Decommissioned Wind Turbine Nacelle Supply, Refurbishment, and Installation for Training

Kerry Education and Training Board seeks a qualified supplier to provide, refurbish, deliver, and fully install one decommissioned wind turbine nacelle with drivetrain and auxiliary systems as a static training asset. The supplier must ensure the complete equipment solution is safe, accessible, and representative of industry-standard equipment. All labour, supervision, plant, lifting arrangements, fixings, accessories, connections, testing, and handover are the supplier's responsibility. The nacelle will serve as a practical training tool for the Wind Turbine Maintenance Technician apprenticeship and related further education programmes at Kerry College Monavalley Campus, and will not be returned to power generation service. The equipment must meet all safety and accessibility standards for training use. This procurement follows public procurement rules under Directive 2014/24/EU and S.I. No. 284 of 2016 on a brand-neutral basis, welcoming equipment from any manufacturer that meets the specified functional and dimensional characteristics.
