Dublin City Council - Integrated Design Team for Clontarf Flood Defence Project

Dublin City Council is seeking an Integrated Design Team to deliver comprehensive consultancy services for the Clontarf Flood Defence and Public Realm Project along Dublin's waterfront. The project aims to address coastal and surface water flooding risks while enhancing public spaces, promoting active travel, and protecting the environment in this sensitive area near Special Areas of Conservation and Special Protection Areas. The successful applicant will lead scheme development from initial planning through detailed design, including environmental assessments, stakeholder engagement, technical studies, surveys, and all documentation needed for statutory approvals and construction readiness. Key responsibilities include balancing flood resilience, climate adaptation, biodiversity protection, heritage considerations, sustainable mobility, and placemaking within a single integrated design.
