Brief

The Northern Lighthouse Board and the Corporation of Trinity House (General Lighthouse Authorities) are seeking a helicopter services provider to support their Marine Aids to Navigation Strategy through 2037. This contract requires the provision of reliable, integrated helicopter services to access and maintain remote navigation aids across the United Kingdom, Isle of Man, and Channel Islands. Key requirements include: passenger and cargo transportation (internal and underslung loads); service resilience to recover from weather disruptions, aircraft technical failures, and other operational interruptions; and rapid emergency response capabilities for casualty assistance and lighthouse failures at any time in any location. The successful provider will ensure the General Lighthouse Authorities maintain a cost-effective, efficient network of marine navigation aids essential to maritime safety. This is a bilateral procurement between both General Lighthouse Authorities.
