    Brief

Southampton City Council is seeking a service provider to deliver housing-related support to individuals where the Council has a duty of care under Section 188 or 193 of the Housing Act 1996. The service will provide flexible, person-centred support tailored to individual needs and circumstances, which may change over time. Key objectives include: developing essential life skills to promote independence; identifying suitable long-term housing solutions in the private rental sector; coordinating with other support agencies as needed; and helping individuals achieve sustainable independent living. Support will be guided by personalized support plans and should be delivered within a reasonable timeframe, with a target of 18 months maximum. The ideal candidate will work with clients who are close to independent living but require targeted assistance to bridge remaining gaps and develop confidence for successful transition.
