    Brief

Ards and North Down Borough Council is seeking an integrated consultancy team to design and deliver the redevelopment of Bangor Marina and Harbour wetside facilities. This is a key project within the Bangor Waterfront Redevelopment programme, funded through the Belfast Region City Deal, aimed at establishing Bangor as a premier destination for living, working, visiting, studying and investment. The project focuses exclusively on wetside infrastructure including pontoons, berthing systems, service connections, access routes and in-water infrastructure at Bangor Marina, Quay Street, Bangor, BT20 5ED. Bangor Marina is one of Northern Ireland's premier marine leisure facilities with Blue Flag and 5-Gold Anchor award status, serving as a gateway for domestic and international vessels and a central feature of the city's visitor offering. The marina is situated within Northern Ireland's third largest urban settlement with a catchment population of approximately 170,000 within 20 minutes and 475,000 within 30 minutes. The redevelopment is part of a 2-mile waterfront transformation between Skippingstone Beach and Banks Lane, Ballyholme. Note that landside buildings, operational facilities and public realm improvements are being progressed separately under the Urban Waterfront and Public Realm project.
