    Brief

Powys Council has established a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for domiciliary care service providers. The system will operate for an initial 10-year period with an optional 5-year extension, subject to bi-annual reviews. Providers must be registered with Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) to deliver domiciliary support services in the Powys regional partnership area. The DPS remains continuously open, allowing new providers to submit Pre-Qualification Questionnaires throughout the contract period. Three service lots are available across North and South Powys: Lot 1 covers domiciliary care including dementia support in urban areas (Town); Lot 2 covers rural areas (Rural); and Lot 3 covers remote rural areas (Remote Rural). Awards under this DPS framework are effective from August 2026 onwards. Interested providers should ensure CIW registration and familiarity with local care requirements before applying.
