Sidney Stringer Multi Academy Trust is seeking an experienced school uniform supplier to provide high-quality, affordable uniforms and a full ordering system for five schools (soon to be six), serving over 3,500 pupils. The Trust operates Sidney Stringer Academy, Sidney Stringer Primary, Radford Primary, Riverbank School, and Ernesford Grange Community Academy, plus a forthcoming SEMH special school. Contract Details: - Duration: 3 years with option to extend for up to 2 additional years - Start dates: 16 May 2027 (most schools) or 26 April 2027 (Sidney Stringer Primary) - Contract value: £487,060 (fixed price, approximately £97,412 annually) - Evaluation: 40% price, 60% quality The Trust is open to online-only models (with pop-up shops in schools) or hybrid approaches combining online ordering with local shop access. Current suppliers (Clive Marks Schoolwear and Brigade Clothing Ltd) use a mixed purchasing model. The successful supplier must prioritize affordability for parents and carers while maintaining quality standards and excellent customer service. Minimum Requirements: - Employer's Liability Insurance: £5 million - Public Liability Insurance: £10 million - Product Liability Insurance: £5 million - Annual turnover: £400,000 minimum This is a Competitive Flexible Procedure with a two-stage evaluation: Stage 1 (PSQ) will select 5-10 candidates (minimum 60% score), followed by Stage 2 (ITT) for detailed tender evaluation. The Trust reserves the right not to appoint and may add additional schools to the contract during its tenure.
