Energy Master Plan Development for Murrintown Sustainable Energy Community, County Wexford

This tender seeks a qualified consultant to develop a comprehensive Energy Master Plan for the Murrintown Sustainable Energy Community (SEC) in County Wexford, Ireland, serving a population of 2,028 across the rural villages of Murrintown and Piercestown. The consultant will analyze baseline energy consumption across residential, non-residential, and transport sectors; identify existing renewable energy sources; conduct 5 building energy audits (ASHRAE Level 2) and 3 home energy assessments; map rural transport and active travel opportunities; and identify potential energy efficiency and renewable energy projects. The plan will prioritize projects for implementation in years 1-3 with measurable targets, establish a system for ongoing progress tracking, and include community engagement activities such as public information sessions, a 4-page summary report, and social media video. All work must be completed within 9 months of contract execution.
