    Brief

    The European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF) is seeking a supplier to purchase approximately 5,165 tonnes of carbon credits to offset embodied emissions from the construction of its new net zero headquarters at the University of Reading's Whiteknights campus in the UK. The new facility, funded by the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT), is expected to be completed between December 2026 and March 2027 and must meet the UK Net Zero Carbon Buildings Standard. This is a one-off procurement via a broker to support the building's carbon offsetting objectives. The allocated budget is up to £2,500,000 including VAT where applicable. Bids must be submitted through the Jaggaer eSourcing Portal (https://beisgroup.ukp.app.jaggaer.com/) by Monday 22nd June 2026 at 11:00am. Register as a supplier on the portal and search for reference number itt_2619 to participate. Do not apply directly to the buyer; all tender information must be submitted through the portal.
