Inpatient Drug and Alcohol Withdrawal Treatment Services

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) contract award for delivering inpatient treatment services for patients managing withdrawal from drugs and alcohol dependence. The contract is awarded under Direct Award Route B of the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023, and the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and 2023 do not apply. The initial contract term runs for 3 years from 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2029, with an option to extend for up to 4 additional years (as two 24-month periods), bringing the total possible contract duration to 7 years ending 31 March 2033. The opportunity to provide services remains open throughout the contract duration. Please note: there is no guaranteed contract value. Payments are made on a cost-per-case basis using provider-specific pricing rates applied only to actual services delivered to patients. The total estimated budget represents the service value across all providers for the entire contract period.
