    Brief

    The City of Wolverhampton Council, on behalf of Black Country Transport, is seeking a consultant to develop a comprehensive transport connectivity project centring on Lye town centre and surrounding areas in Dudley Borough. The project will address multiple infrastructure and connectivity objectives including: enhancements to Lye high street; improved pedestrian and vehicular connectivity from Lye railway station to the high street via the A4036 route; development of an active travel route along part of the A458; and completion of a feasibility study for dualling the Lye bypass. The appointment will be made through the Midland Highways Alliance PSP4 Lot 2 Framework. This is an opportunity for consultants with expertise in transport planning, urban design, and infrastructure feasibility assessment to contribute to significant local connectivity improvements.
