Employer's Agent for Gloucester Greyfriars Cultural Hub Project

Gloucester City Council seeks an experienced Employer's Agent for the Greyfriars Cultural Hub redevelopment project located at Eastgate Shopping Centre and Greyfriars in Gloucester. This is a 19-month appointment running from September 2026 to April 2028, covering RIBA Stages 3-6 (Detailed Design through to Handover). The successful candidate will manage approximately £6-7 million of Cultural Hub works as part of the wider £11 million Levelling Up Fund project. The role involves reporting to the Scheme Project Managers (Ben O'Connor and Katy Newman-Miller) and working with the lead design team of Featherstone Young Architects and DCA Associates. The contract will be governed by the JCT 2024 Suite using Design & Build or Major Works as applicable. Key responsibilities include overseeing design development, managing contractor performance, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring the project delivers within budget and schedule. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience as an Employer's Agent on major construction projects and a thorough understanding of JCT contracts.
