    Brief

The UK Space Agency is seeking operational support to maintain the UK's participation in the International Charter: Space and Major Disasters, a global agreement that provides unified earth observation satellite data to disaster-affected regions. Unlike other space-faring nations, the UK Government does not own national earth observation (EO) satellites, so it partners with the UK commercial EO sector to fulfill Charter commitments. This procurement aims to secure an organization with UK-licensed and operated EO satellite assets to provide data during Charter activations (emergency responses to natural and man-made disasters). By supporting this requirement, you will help deliver public benefit and strategic value by demonstrating sovereign UK EO capabilities, enabling international humanitarian disaster response, and showcasing the operational effectiveness of UK-developed EO missions. The Contracting Authority plans to launch this procurement by 9 October, though earlier launch is possible.
