Adult Social Care Listening Events - West Northamptonshire

West Northamptonshire Council is seeking a consultant to design and deliver the Adult Social Care Big Conversation Listening Events across the region from June to August 2026. The consultant will work collaboratively with a Coproduction Board, council staff, and partners to gather feedback from people who use social care services, unpaid carers, council staff, and external providers. Key responsibilities include: engaging seldom heard and hard-to-reach groups such as people in residential care, supported living, those with complex needs, sensory disabilities, faith communities, ethnic minorities, travellers, and homeless individuals; designing and delivering accessible listening events across all Local Area Partnerships; creating safe, empathetic environments for open dialogue; capturing feedback on current social care priorities and the recent Care Quality Commission assessment; and producing an analytical report to inform the Council's Local Account 2026 priorities. The consultant must demonstrate expertise in coproduction, inclusive engagement methods (surveys, face-to-face conversations, one-to-one interviews), and experience working with diverse and vulnerable populations. Successful delivery requires close partnership with strategic commissioning, quality management, social work teams, community development staff, and communications colleagues.
