    Brief

Bristol City Council is seeking a single supplier to deliver comprehensive support services for children and families affected by parental offending. The contract comprises three integrated service components: 1. Professional Training and Awareness Deliver training and networking events to professionals working with children (including schools, family support services, family hubs, and social care) to increase awareness of the impact of parental offending. Act as a point of contact for professionals seeking guidance and resources to support affected families. 2. Direct Family Support Provide tailored one-to-one support to children and young people affected by parental offending, using a whole-family approach. Services include peer support groups and activities for children, plus targeted support for non-offending parents and extended family members as needed. 3. Parenting Programmes for Incarcerated Parents Deliver parenting skills courses to parents in prison, enabling them to maintain meaningful relationships with their children despite separation. Programmes aim to strengthen family dynamics and reduce reoffending rates. This is a market testing exercise to gauge supplier interest and capability. Interested suppliers must register to access the full specification and Expression of Interest form.
