Topographical and LiDAR Survey for N52 Road Corridor in County Westmeath

Westmeath County Council is seeking a qualified survey contractor to conduct a comprehensive topographical and LiDAR survey along the N52 road corridor between Delvin and Clonmellon in County Westmeath, covering approximately 210 hectares. The scope of work includes: topographical survey of the designated area; aerial photography capture; high-resolution orthophotography production; and LiDAR survey suitable for both engineering design and archaeological assessment. The LiDAR deliverables must include raw and classified point cloud data, Digital Surface Model (DSM), Digital Terrain Model (DTM), contours, and associated metadata. The survey data should be processed to create a high-quality bare-earth Digital Terrain Model that highlights microtopography and low-relief archaeological features potentially hidden by vegetation. Additionally, an accurate and detailed survey of existing surface and sub-surface services is required. The final deliverables will provide accurate, controlled, and quality-assured spatial data essential for detailed engineering design, infrastructure assessment, and archaeological evaluation of the survey area.
