    Brief

This project seeks to create detailed maps and analysis of bird species habitat usage in the Teesmouth & Cleveland Coast SSSI (Site of Special Scientific Interest), SPA (Special Protection Area), and Ramsar site. The area supports over 20,000 overwintering coastal birds and several designated bird species. The successful contractor will produce fine-scale mapping showing how qualifying bird species use protected habitats, farmland, and brownfield sites. Deliverables include a comprehensive report documenting methods and findings, GIS mapping layers enabling data interrogation and analysis, and a user guidance document to support the mapping tool. This work will improve understanding of bird habitat preferences and support future conservation and land management decisions.
