    Brief

Buckinghamshire Council is establishing an open framework agreement to secure flexible nightly-paid temporary accommodation within Buckinghamshire County. The Council needs both self-contained properties (with kitchen and bathroom facilities) and shared accommodation, ranging from single hotel rooms to units accommodating families of up to 8 people. Services will operate on a spot-purchase basis, allowing the Council to book accommodation flexibly and at short notice as needed. This supports the Council's statutory duty under Part 7 of the Housing Act 1996 to provide homelessness advice, assistance, and temporary accommodation for priority need cases. Suppliers should note: (1) All properties must demonstrate Health and Safety compliance with evidence provided; (2) Environmental Health Officers will conduct inspections before properties are used; (3) An agreed inspection schedule will continue throughout the framework period; (4) Properties must be located within Buckinghamshire County; (5) Availability on flexible, responsive terms is essential. This is an excellent opportunity for accommodation providers to establish a reliable, ongoing relationship with the Council for managed temporary housing services.
